[Shane shakes his head and disconnects it. He frowns before shoving his hands in his pockets and leaving his hospital room, walking around the hallways.

He still paces. Sure his limbs are a little slower but he's working a perimeter again.

[It doesn't take her long to encounter him... Crown in hand, she narrows her eyes and it takes all she can not to throw the damned thing at him.

She'd made sure every reminder of her Games were hidden in her room.... It was easier to pretend to be normal that way.... This crown? She took a deep breath as the diamonds pressed into her skin and she turned on her heel to walk the other way.]

[Shane doesn't stop walking for a few moments. He has a tense look in his shoulders, a deep frown on his face and when he sees her the expression doesn't lift. Hands drop to his sides it's a look she might know, a tribute cornered.

[That's not the best look for him to have... Cashmere's trained to prey on that exact weakness. Kill or be killed... Thankfully, that's not her first instinct. Not right now.

She isn't able to turn right away and instead stops to hold up the crown.]

I know I might look it, but I'm not that shallow! [Her voice starts to raise and she throws the crown to the ground, slamming her heel down on it.]

What the hell's your problem?! It was a gift. I'm sorry that it didn't turn out you don't have to shit on it. [He shakes his head]

[She takes a few steps forward, not threatening, but so she doesn't have to raise her voice any more.]

Do you know how many people I killed to earn that? [Her voice raises again after admitting that... her eyes wide.] The memories that fucking crown brings back and you expect me to just take it and not be upset by it?!

[Her eyes widened a bit and her index finger raised to point at him.]

[A few steps back and she leans down to pick up the crown.]

Don't even bother... Not right now... I just can't. This... this thing is a symbol of how the Capitol owns me now. Even if you didn't mean it? You can't just NICE yourself out of this.
